About ICE ID

Hello! My name is Yuki and I am a mum to two young boys, 5 and 3. I am married and we live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

ICE ID (In Case of Emergency Identification) tags are a medical/emergency identification tag that easily attaches to most shoes or clothing with a hook and loop fastener.

ICE ID came about when I was looking for a simple, inexpensive identification solution for my sons. Bracelets and necklaces were readily available in Australia, however I knew my sons would not tolerate wearing them. When I came across the idea of shoe tags, I knew I had found the perfect solution. I tracked down a manufacturer, began the design process and brought ICE ID shoe tags to Australia!

I love that the tags are “no-tech” - it makes them so simple to use. Each tag comes with two plastic inserts, so the tags are easily updated and waterproof. The silver strip of the tag is reflective. As the insert is securely tucked away, personal details are not visible.

ICE ID tags can be used by children and adults (for example runners/joggers/hikers, cyclists, and the elderly).
